The role of the Financial Operations Specialist involves critical responsibilities that ensure the smooth functioning of the accounts payable process. Key duties include:

  • Generating and compiling weekly financial reports related to accounts payable.
  • Processing payment requests and ensuring timely disbursements.
  • Ensuring accuracy in the weekly check printing process.
  • Providing necessary financial reports as required by management.
  • Preparing checks for distribution, including vendor payments.
  • Maintaining organized filing and recordkeeping systems.
  • Handling deposits for inter-company transactions.
  • Managing electronic accounts payable entries within the accounting system.
  • Reviewing and verifying documents for accuracy, including checks and invoices.
  • Proofreading all financial documents to ensure correctness.
  • Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • An associate's degree or equivalent training, with a preference for accounting coursework.
  • Experience with Yardi software and proficiency in Excel.
