Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and welcoming Receptionist to represent our early childhood facility, which encompasses both the child development center and mental health services. This role involves providing essential administrative support while fostering a nurturing environment for the children we serve.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $15.50

Work Schedule

Part-Time: Mornings from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

Front Office Duties

  • Manage reception tasks including answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Ensure the lobby and waiting areas are comfortable and secure.
  • Adhere to health protocols, including online check-ins and temperature screenings.
  • Monitor compliance with safety protocols during drop-off and pick-up times.
  • Maintain visitor logs for all guests and specialized therapists.
  • Order and manage office and classroom supplies, assisting staff with clerical tasks as necessary.
  • Handle incoming faxes and scanned documents, distributing them appropriately.
  • Assist with mailing tasks and maintain mail and copy rooms.
  • Submit Helpdesk tickets for building maintenance as required.

Child Development Center Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily attendance checks and report findings in ProCare.
  • Perform additional data entry and manage communication related to facility operations.
  • Provide coverage during breaks or as needed in classrooms.
  • Support the Business Office with fee collection processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, meal counts, and other delegated tasks.
  • Assist in organizing events such as Teacher Recognition Week and other special occasions.
  • Collect and input Parent satisfaction surveys into Survey Monkey.

Mental Health Services Responsibilities

  • Contact new therapy referrals to schedule initial assessments and send consent forms via DocuSign.
  • Provide clinicians with weekly data quality reports and assist in updating health records.
  • Regularly communicate with clients on the waitlist to update them on their status.
  • Facilitate necessary communications between clinical staff and clients.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of one year of administrative experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • All candidates must pass a drug screening and an extensive background check.
