Job Summary:

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee independent manufacturer representatives and manage sales activities within a specific geographical area. The successful candidate will be responsible for devising sales strategies, setting targets, monitoring performance, providing support to representatives, and nurturing customer relationships. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of manufacturer representatives to achieve sales targets
  • Develop and implement sales plans to meet objectives
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and craft effective sales strategies
  • Conduct joint sales calls and presentations with manufacturer representatives
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts to drive business growth
  • Track sales metrics and provide reports on performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards
  • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge
  • Participate in events to enhance market awareness
  • Identify new customers and market opportunities
  • Create compelling presentations about Panelmatic's value proposition
  • Provide regular updates to the VP of Sales

Requirements:


•Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field


•Minimum five years of sales experience in the electrical manufacturing industry


•Minimum three years of sales team management experience


•Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas


•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills


•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


•Experience with sales CRMs


•Ability to work independently and travel up to 60% of the time


•Pass required checks and align with company values

Preferred Qualifications:


•Two or more years of sales experience in utility relay panel manufacturing


•Experience in relay control house and utility market


•Experience working with independent sales representatives
