Position Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to ensure an exceptional experience for all visitors, addressing their needs and those of their group coordinators. This position serves as a key representative of our organization, overseeing guest interactions at the reception, managing group meeting requirements, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate effectively with the Reservations Team to facilitate a smooth arrival and stay for guest groups.
  2. Resolve any issues or concerns raised by guests during their visit or afterward.
  3. Supervise and support the housekeeping team, ensuring all staff receive proper training and are scheduled efficiently.
  4. Manage inventory and procurement of necessary supplies.
  5. Oversee guest service associates, ensuring all meeting spaces are prepared and equipped according to group specifications.
  6. Conduct inspections of guest accommodations and meeting rooms.
  7. Act as the Manager on Duty as required.
  8. Manage the operational aspects of the guest management system.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in hospitality management.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage personnel and operational systems.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and help team members set and achieve goals.
  • Experience interacting with individuals from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong customer service orientation and crisis management skills.
  • Proficient in learning and utilizing new management software.
  • Basic understanding of audio/visual equipment.
  • Conflict resolution skills.

  • Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to see, hear, speak, type, write, and move between locations while performing tasks.
  • May require lifting items up to 25 lbs to assist housekeeping staff.
  • Availability to reside on-site when serving as Manager on Duty if living a significant distance away.
  • Weekend and evening availability is necessary.
