We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team at Tandem Diabetes Care. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our innovative products and services within an assigned territory, working closely with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop business relationships with potential customers to facilitate the sales of Tandem Diabetes' products and services.
- Use industry sales expertise to provide account sales support and continuing education to patients, physicians, and their Clinical Educators on the technical use of insulin pump therapy and special considerations related to pump therapy in the marketplace.
- Ensure the territory meets or exceeds company goals as established by management.
- Collaborate with Customer Sales Support Specialists to identify and address pre and post sales order issues, and sales lead inquiries.
- Maintain all assigned company property, equipment, records, selling aids, and samples in a manner consistent with company policies.
- BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
- 3+ years of related industry sales experience; preferably in one or more of the following areas: diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, and managed care.
- Able to relate effectively with patients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues and answer questions according to company protocols and requirements.
- Able to assert own ideas and persuade others through effectively consolidating, evaluating, and presenting relevant information.
- Skilled at promoting team cooperation and a commitment to team success.
