DHL currently has an opening for a Retail Service Agent. The Retail Service Agent will provide customer support in a retail setting to ensure the efficient and timely processing of customer shipments. This role involves working independently at a new facility and includes responsibilities for the opening and closing of the location. The Retail Service Agent will ensure adherence to safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers and promptly address any inquiries or concerns, including via telephone.
- Prepare labels and documentation necessary for customers sending their international or domestic shipments with DHL.
- Assist customers with dropping off or picking up their pre-labeled DHL shipments.
- Support operational procedures including sorting, shipment processing, documentation, manifesting, bagging, and providing shipment status information as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Availability to work the following schedule: Mon-Fri 10am-6pm, Sat 11am-3pm.
- Comfortable lifting up to 60lbs regularly.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Generally, 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service.
- Experience in a similar role or in a leadership capacity is preferred.
- Intermediate service, production, or support role with greater responsibility to perform all (or most) standard work within the function.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong computer skills are required.
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities are necessary.
- Ability to work independently.
