About the Role:

As a Corporate Development Manager at Databricks, you will play a critical role in identifying and executing strategic acquisitions and investments to support our corporate and product strategy. You will work closely with our Executive Leadership, Product Management, Engineering, and Product Partnerships teams to source, evaluate, and execute high-impact opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and advancement of M&A and Databricks Ventures opportunities by partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and qualify high-impact opportunities.
  • Drive strategic and financial evaluation of opportunities and communicate findings in business case memos and executive presentations.
  • Follow key competitive/market trends to document and inform our view of the competitive landscape and rapidly evolving ecosystem.

What We Look For:
  • BA or BS undergraduate degree required; CS degree a plus.
  • 4+ years of work experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital in the technology industry; exposure to product management in enterprise B2B or the data sector is a plus.
  • Experience building financial and operating models and valuing companies.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-directed and resourceful with ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively to executives.
  • Strong drive to rapidly grow into a deal lead role.
