Athena Corporate is seeking a skilled Android Development Lead to drive the development of our mobile applications on the Android platform.

This role requires a seasoned developer with a passion for crafting seamless mobile experiences, a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring innovative features to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of high-quality Android applications, ensuring best practices and performance standards are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership in Android development, advocating for solutions that align with the strategic vision of the mobile platform.
  • Maintain and enforce high standards of code quality, reliability, and scalability through code reviews, automated testing, and thorough documentation.
  • Oversee the entire feature development lifecycle from concept to deployment, including design, development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration and consistency across the mobile platform.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in the Android ecosystem, including new tools, frameworks, and best practices, and assess their potential impact on existing and future projects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional Android development experience with a strong portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store.
  • Expertise in Kotlin and Java, along with a solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and other essential tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of overcoming technical challenges and delivering solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical concepts effectively with a diverse team.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
