Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Clerk to join our team at Warn Industries, Inc. This role is responsible for managing the spare parts inventory for critical equipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of parts to support machine repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the spare parts inventory for critical equipment, including ordering, tracking, and storing parts.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance team to identify critical equipment and develop a spare parts program to minimize production downtime.
  • Use JD Edwards (Warn's ERP software) to create purchase orders, track spending, and produce monthly reconciliation reports.
  • Validate inventory by conducting quarterly cycle counts and develop reporting formats to suggest process adjustments.
  • Facilitate quarterly reviews of the critical equipment list with production, maintenance, and engineering leaders.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in creating a process to pre-kit parts used during PMs (preventative maintenance).
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least a year's experience in a role with comparable responsibilities (parts store, inventory, buying, planning, database management, finance, etc.).
  • Strong aptitude on Microsoft Office products.
  • An understanding of database management is a plus.

  • Effectively problem-solve and continuously improve and learn new skills.
  • Create, review, comprehend, interpret, process, and effectively evaluate documents.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Natural self-starter and ability to work collaboratively with others.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a shop, office, warehouse, and outdoor environments. Job duties require experience and comfort working in an active shop environment, as well as throughout the factory (including the roof).
