Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Sales Manager to lead our sales team in a designated geographic area. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of Account Managers, and implementing company strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in a designated geographic area.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and customer base.
  • Manage and motivate a team of Account Managers to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Implement segment programs with customers, supplier partners, and local internal resources to drive sales growth.
  • Use pricing strategies to guide the team to most profitable growth.
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships in partnership with the team.
  • Coach and counsel direct reports to perform and develop their skills.
  • Demonstrate change leadership and promote business changes through the team.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate successful strategic planning, goal setting, and allocation, quantitative analysis.
  • Leadership skills to assess, coach, counsel, and develop a sales team.
  • Ability to understand financial reporting, analyze needs, costs/budgets, and economic earnings.
  • Change Management skills.
  • Motivate, inspire, and achieve results through others.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • College or equivalent experience.
  • 50% to 75% travel.
