Position Overview: The Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement will integrate existing site frameworks and resources, formulating and steering a multi-year strategic plan aimed at achieving business goals related to Continuous Improvement and Net Productivity enhancement.
This role involves leveraging lean methodologies across all operational domains, including production, quality, materials, maintenance, environmental concerns, safety, and a particular emphasis on core conversion productivity, to drive improvements in operational metrics across the network.
This is a full-time remote role reporting directly to the Director of Operations Transformation & OPX.
Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with site teams and TEOA leadership, create a multi-year strategy that identifies essential programs to meet overall Business Unit and site-specific net productivity targets. Ensure a systematic process is established for regularly updating and refining the overarching roadmap, which can be utilized in quarterly forecasting, annual planning, and multi-year strategic planning.
Engage with plant leadership to align on the overall business and site trajectory, employing change management strategies to secure buy-in for the comprehensive strategy.
Establish standardized frameworks for execution and reporting that promote ongoing cost reductions.
Work in close partnership with all functions to guarantee the application of robust problem-solving and continuous improvement techniques, through teaching, coaching, and personal demonstration.
Assist sites in cultivating a strong, results-oriented team that implements key improvement initiatives with a culture of accountability that becomes ingrained in the organization.
Actively contribute to the professional development of employees, identifying key talent and proposing initiatives aimed at motivating high-potential individuals. Foster talent and future leaders.
Promote a culture of creativity, agility, efficiency, innovation, and continuous learning within the organization.
Collaborate with the regional operations leader to ensure process standardization and a unified approach across the Business Unit network.
Engage with corporate and segment leaders on key initiatives such as TEBest, Digital Factory, and Automation to support the development and execution of the Business Unit strategy.
Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, as well as all TE policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 12 years of leadership experience in an advanced manufacturing environment, with increasing levels of responsibility.
Prior experience leading large-scale continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong foundation in Lean methodologies, with experience in value stream mapping and implementing lean tools such as 5S+1, Visual Factory, Standard Work, Quick Changeover, Material Replenishment & Flow, and TPM.
Experience in site performance transformation.
Proven team leader and talent developer.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically to achieve results.
Analytical and data-driven mindset to maintain a comprehensive view of complex situations.
Adaptability to shifting work priorities in a dynamic environment.

Compensation:
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $138,800 - $208,200 (subject to change based on location).
- Salary ranges are provided in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate, as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits.
