Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct start-up, warranty, preventive maintenance, and repair of chillers, cooling towers, heat pumps, and associated equipment.
  • Identify and address equipment replacement needs while providing guidance on proper equipment usage.
  • Perform equipment installation verification and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Set up communication between equipment and troubleshoot integration with Building Management Systems.
  • Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA, NFPA, and company-specific safety protocols.
  • Mentor junior technicians and provide training on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and ensure all systems are updated as necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing telephone support and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with HVAC equipment, particularly chillers and cooling towers.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Information:

This position requires travel and may involve working autonomously. A clean driving record is essential, and adherence to company policies regarding safety and operational procedures is mandatory.
