Culinary Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Culinary Team Lead to oversee the preparation and cooking of foods, coordinate activities of cooks and other food-service associates, and assume responsibility for kitchen and food-service associates in the absence of the Executive Chef. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and leading a team of professionals, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 5 years of culinary experience as a Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef
- Knowledgeable in the area of menu development, menu writing, butchery in fresh seafood and meats
- Knowledgeable in pastries and baking
- Knowledgeable in soups, sauces, and stocks
- Understands timing and execution of product
- Must have a creative eye for presentation of product
- Understands basic food cost of product
- Knowledgeable in Vegan and/or Vegetarian products
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards. Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders.
- Supervises hourly food service associates. Includes interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action, as appropriate.
