SOLV Energy is a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) provider for utility solar, high voltage substation, and energy storage markets across North America.


Job Summary:


This Business Development Manager - Operations & Maintenance will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and developing new business opportunities for SOLV Energy's Operations and Maintenance team.


Key Responsibilities:
* Manage existing client relationships and develop new ones to drive revenue growth
* Understand renewable energy solutions market and client development principles in a professional service industry setting
* Prospect and qualify new clients and opportunities through in-person and remote networking efforts
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SOLV Energy's Operations and Maintenance services
* Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to coordinate SOLV Energy's pursuit of project opportunities
* Review and summarize key opportunity parameters, including client, location, MW capacity, interconnection voltage, COD deadline, and RFP deadline
* Lead the pursuit effort and manage all communications and deliverables to the client
* Prepare proposals and quotes using company-provided templates and tools
* Maintain accurate records and workflows in business operations platforms
* Take meeting minutes and track assigned deliverables
* Follow up with team members regarding assigned tasks and due dates

Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or technology preferred
* Experience in utility-scale solar and storage, or adjacent energy or construction industry preferred
* Network of existing industry contacts preferred
* Basic understanding of utility-scale solar design and engineering principles preferred
* Excellent written and oral communication skills required
* Detail- and task-oriented

Compensation Range:
$127,000 - $169,426.00
