As the Clinical Dietitian Lead, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating the nutritional needs of our patients through established assessment methodologies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing clinical nutrition operations and guiding other professionals in the field. You will take pride in leading a team and advising patients, families, and caregivers on tailored nutrition strategies aimed at improving health outcomes.
In this role, you will engage with patients presenting complex health conditions (e.g., pediatric, bariatric, ICU) that necessitate advanced skills in delivering specialized nutrition therapy. You will conduct thorough nutritional evaluations that consider age, gender, and diverse cultural backgrounds. Regular screenings will be part of your duties to identify individuals at nutritional risk, and you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care while providing outstanding service to all stakeholders.
Additionally, you will enhance your professional development by managing clinical nutrition administrative tasks and mentoring fellow Clinical Dietitians and students in essential departmental functions.

Responsibilities
+ Formulate individualized intervention plans that specify the appropriate feeding methods and nutrition prescriptions tailored to each patient's unique requirements, adhering to physician directives.
+ Assess and document patient responses to interventions, ensuring measurable goals are met in the nutrition care plan.
+ Revise care plans as necessary and maintain follow-up with patients to ensure ongoing support.
+ Assist in managing staffing levels to meet clinical demands efficiently.
+ Facilitate the training and development of Clinical Dietitians I & II, as well as other relevant positions.
+ Potentially lead training sessions on Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) for hospital staff, including nurses, therapists, and physicians.
+ Collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Services team to enhance the overall patient experience.
Qualifications
+ Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian II or four (4) years of experience in an acute care setting with complex patient populations.
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited dietitian program (ACEND - Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition Dietetics).
+ Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
+ State licensure as a Dietitian in applicable states.
Pay Range
$36.52/hour
