Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Echocardiography Specialist to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As an Echocardiography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including echocardiogram machines and other diagnostic devices
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent
  • Collect and analyze data from diagnostic tests and procedures, and report results to physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited echocardiography program
  • BLS certification (through an approved AHA program)
  • Registered through either American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - ARDMS (RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – CCI (RCS)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
