The barista position is vital for providing outstanding service by understanding customer needs, offering practical solutions, and showcasing the quality of Sprudge coffee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and engage each customer with warmth and professionalism.
  • Identify and address customer needs through clear and friendly communication.
  • Adhere to and uphold quality standards in accordance with Sprudge policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Perform essential barista duties, including brewing coffee, crafting espresso drinks, and preparing teas.
  • Confidently promote food and beverage items to enhance customer experience.
  • Stay informed about all retail coffee offerings, products, and menu selections.
  • Ensure accurate food and drink preparation by following established recipes and production standards.
  • Contribute to the café's reputation by fulfilling unique requests from management and exploring new ways to add value.

Additional Information:

  • We are hiring for both Full-Time (30-40 hours) and Part-Time positions.
  • Compensation includes an hourly wage plus tips.
  • Candidates must be 18 years or older.
  • Food Handler and TABC licenses are required.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
