Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Health Actuary to serve as a key technical expert in health practice areas such as financial modeling, rate setting, and plan analysis. This role requires close collaboration with consulting teams to deliver client-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support health practice projects, including financial/actuarial modeling, pricing, and underwriting.
  • Serve as a technical advisor on health plan design, financing, and managed care strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships within the organization and with client teams.
  • Contribute to the training and professional development of health practice staff.
  • Aid in the pursuit of new business opportunities through expert actuarial support.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 years in health actuarial roles, with a preference for 7-10 years in health and welfare managed care.
  • ASA or FSA designation, or significant progress towards SOA accreditation.
  • Proven experience in project management and client services.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
