The Senior Vice President of Security Operations & Technology is responsible for providing leadership and strategic oversight for the security operations and technology divisions at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE).
The individual will manage an operating and capital expenditure budget of approximately $6.5 million annually, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
They will primarily focus on achieving objectives through effective coordination of a team that includes 3 direct reports, 5 additional support personnel, and around 140 contract staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer strategic guidance and support to the Director of Security Operations at SPE.
Oversee responsibilities related to lot security operations, which encompass investigations, guard force management, town patrol, threat assessment, executive protection, event security, security administration, and anti-piracy initiatives.
Act as a crucial member of the Incident Management Team (IMT).Serve as a liaison with law enforcement as necessary.
Ensure ongoing collaboration with the Security Technology Group (STG) and the 24/7 Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) at SPE.
Lead the STG in its mission to implement comprehensive physical security and safety technology programs across the enterprise.
Manage technology-related responsibilities including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion alarms, AEDs, and systems that support SPE's critical Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
Encourage collaboration and integration of S3 & Facilities systems with a focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline routine tasks.Implement data metric reporting to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to Global Sony Corporate Policies, SPE Policies, international jurisdictional regulations, and other relevant standards such as GDPR, GISS, MPA, TPN & NFPA.
Collaborate with various SPE stakeholders, including IT, Privacy, Facilities, Legal & Investigations, to ensure alignment of STG projects.Qualifications:
10+ years of management experience within the entertainment sector.
5+ years of experience overseeing guard force/security operations.
A high school diploma is preferred.
Knowledge Requirements:
Understanding of crisis management and incident command structures.
Familiarity with industry trends, products, and services.
Principles of security risk management.
General knowledge of construction practices.
Skills Required:
