Child Care Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Care Supervisor to join our team at Stratton Mountain Resort. As a Child Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our child care facility, ensuring the development and safety of our young guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster open communication between parents and caregivers to ensure a seamless experience for our families.
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate classroom activities that promote learning and growth.
  • Collaborate with the Child Care Manager to create and implement curriculum, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching staff, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Manage daily check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate records and efficient operations.
  • Assist with staff professional development, including orientation and policy training.
  • Oversee the child care center during the Child Care Manager's absence, ensuring continuity and excellence in care.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Teacher Associate or Supervisor in a licensed child care program.
  • 1-2 years of supervision and staff management experience.
  • Knowledge of state legislation, regulation, and policies; First Aid & CPR certification required.
