We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Teacher to join our team at Stratton Mountain Resort. As a Child Care Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that foster engagement and participation
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and shared goals
- Supervise and guide Teacher Assistants and Classroom Aides to ensure compliance with state regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to state licensing requirements and regulations
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 21 college credits in Early Education or a qualifying Associate's Degree
- Must meet or exceed Vermont standards for Teacher Associate position
- At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare center or as an Early Elementary Educator
- Competitive hourly rate of $22.00
