Commercial Casework Specialist

We are currently seeking a Commercial Casework Specialist to join our team at New England Caseworks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality shop drawings and ensuring timely project completion.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience working with AutoCAD and Microvellum software, as well as knowledge of layout, shop drawings, and construction of customized commercial casework and millwork.

This is a full-time, hourly position with standard hours of 7am-3:30pm M-F, reporting to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Program details and sections for fabrication, including all CNC machining.
  • Assist NEL drafting department with design of custom/modified products prior to shop drawing submittal.
  • Coordinate with project manager(s) and production manager to maintain schedules and deadlines.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of AutoCAD experience, an Associate's degree or certificate in drafting, and 1-3 years of millwork experience. Additionally, they will have 2-5 years of experience programming production software (Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Solidworks, or similar software).

They will also have knowledge of layout, shop drawings, and construction of customized commercial casework & millwork. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year.
