Millwork Drafter Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwork Drafter to join our team at New England Caseworks. With a strong background in AutoCAD and Microvellum software, the successful candidate will be responsible for programming and preparing parts lists, bills of materials, and shop drawings.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with AutoCAD, Microvellum, or similar software, as well as knowledge of layout, shop drawings, and construction of customized commercial casework and millwork.

This is a full-time, hourly position with standard hours of 7am-3:30pm M-F, reporting to the Production Manager.

• Use AutoCAD to produce shop drawings in Microvellum environment to generate production orders.
• Take lead role in coordinating drafting tasks with production schedule.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and clarifying scope in order to generate and qualify new work.

The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of AutoCAD experience, an Associate's degree or certificate in drafting, and 1-3 years of millwork experience. Additionally, they will have 2-5 years of experience programming production software (Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Solidworks, or similar software).

They will also have knowledge of layout, shop drawings, and construction of customized commercial casework & millwork. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
