Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vulnerability discovery, analysis, and mitigation to ensure the security of our clients' networks.
  • Perform network auditing and traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark to identify potential security threats.
  • Design, implement, and administer Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) solutions to protect against cyber threats.
  • Develop and implement enterprise-level cybersecurity policies to ensure the security and integrity of our clients' data.
  • Conduct ASA vulnerability analysis and develop disaster recovery strategies to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Design and implement proof-of-concept (pilot testing) of various cybersecurity solutions to evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in our clients' networks to prevent cyber attacks.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level monitoring solutions to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats.
  • Create training materials for employees and fellow administrators to enhance their cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify, monitor, and define the requirements for the overall security of our clients' enterprise networks.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for Systems Administrators within the organization.
  • Drive managed service delivery to ensure the timely and effective resolution of cybersecurity incidents.
  • Monitor and analyze cybersecurity alerts from various tools, network devices, and information systems to identify potential security threats.
  • Maintain and update cybersecurity infrastructure and policies to protect against evolving cyber threats.
  • Design, develop, modify, test, and integrate database or computer hardware systems to protect against cyber threats.
  • Perform cybersecurity incident detection, analysis, and prevention to minimize the impact of cyber attacks.
  • Perform vulnerability scans of networks and applications to assess their effectiveness and identify weaknesses.
  • Perform forensic analysis of information systems and portable devices to recover data and identify security breaches.
  • Research and analyze cybersecurity threat indicators and their behaviors to recommend threat mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to enhance employees' knowledge and skills in cybersecurity best practices.
Requirements
  • Occasional in-region and out-of-region travel may be required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Must provide own transportation when on company business.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • 24/7 availability with on-call rotation work.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed deadlines set by supervisors.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Network, IT security, or a related field is required.
  • 4-6 years' experience in network or security administration is required.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in time/project management is preferred.
  • CISSP, CCNA security, Security +, or higher-level certification is preferred.
