This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Air Force's Defensive Cyber Realization, Integration & Operational Support (DCRIOS II) contract.
The mission of the 67th Cyberspace Wing (67 CW) is to deliver cyberspace capabilities to ensure a strategic advantage for the nation.
The wing provides combat cyberspace capabilities to the Service, United States Cyber Command, and the Joint Forces, acting as the Air Force's Cyber execution arm for global cyberspace operations.
Additionally, the wing offers training, capability development, operational testing, and range capabilities to enhance readiness across the Cyber Mission Force (CMF).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engineering and technical support to ensure systems achieve initial and ongoing accreditation.
- Comply with all requirements for Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT) and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) Reporting.
- Support Assessment & Authorization (A&A) standards and processes to maintain quality and consistency throughout the system lifecycle.
- Conduct RMF surveys and document responses in the Enterprise Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR).
- Develop RMF certification packages for accreditation approval and maintain Authority to Operate.
- Research and finalize requirements to meet DoD IA controls.
- Create necessary reports, technical drawings, and spreadsheets to fulfill DoD IA controls.
- Implement information security measures and procedures, including incident reporting.
- Coordinate responses to unauthorized disclosures.
- Enforce DoD Information System (IS) and Platform Information Technology (PIT) system cybersecurity policies.
- Ensure users have appropriate security clearances and understand their cybersecurity responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the Information System Security Manager to initiate corrective measures for cybersecurity incidents.
- Maintain current and accessible DoD IS cybersecurity documentation.
- Configure and operate IT systems according to DoD cybersecurity policies.
- Protect authenticators based on the sensitivity of accessed information.
- Adhere to policies governing the secure operation of DoD IT systems.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity program.
- Ensure compliance with IAT 8570 certification requirements.
- Report violations of AF IA policies to the appropriate functional manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- IAT II certification.
