Compensation: Salary is determined based on experience, ranging from entry-level to highly experienced professionals. **$20,000 Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance Available** Shift/Weekend Rotation: Monday – Friday; 8-hour shifts: 7am – 3:30pm Call Schedule: 10-13 nights/month; minimum 1-2 weekends/month
Volume/Caseload: 30 or more scheduled cases weekly Types of Procedures: TCAR, AAA, Peripheral vascular, Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Right and Left Heart Cath, STEMI, and Stroke. Hours: Standard hours are 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. However, schedules may vary based on operational needs. The Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist operates radiographic fluoroscopic equipment while performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role involves collaboration with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure a welcoming environment in the laboratory. Participation in call rotation is required, adhering to flexible shift scheduling. The Specialist is responsible for compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards of licensure/certification. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Cardiovascular technologist (CVT)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) BLS certification on the first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center
ACLS certification - within 3 months of hire (to be assigned by the Learning Center) At least one year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory At least 1 year of experience in digital and cine imaging and archiving. Required skills for this position include: X-ray Proficiency Monitoring Proficiency Scrubbing Proficiency Candidates not meeting the above requirements will be evaluated for eligibility on an individual basis.
