Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

Key Qualifications:
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 1 year of experience in both diagnostic and interventional procedures within a cardiac or general catheterization setting
- 1 year of experience in digital imaging and cine archiving
Monday to Friday; 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
On-Call Requirements: 10-13 nights per month; minimum of 1-2 weekends per month
Caseload Volume: Over 30 scheduled cases weekly
Common Procedures: TCAR, Peripheral Vascular interventions, Pacemaker and Defibrillator placements, Right and Left Heart Catheterizations, STEMI management, and Stroke interventions.
Shift Differentials:
- Evening Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) = 8% additional pay
- Night Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) = 11% additional pay
- No differential for weekend shifts
Essential Requirements:
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures
- 1 year experience in digital and cine imaging
- Expertise in X-ray operation, patient monitoring, and scrubbing techniques
