Key Qualifications:
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in both diagnostic and interventional procedures within a cardiac or general catheterization setting
  • 1 year of experience in digital imaging and cine archiving
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday; 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
On-Call Requirements: 10-13 nights per month; minimum of 1-2 weekends per month
Caseload Volume: Over 30 scheduled cases weekly
Common Procedures: TCAR, Peripheral Vascular interventions, Pacemaker and Defibrillator placements, Right and Left Heart Catheterizations, STEMI management, and Stroke interventions.
Shift Differentials:
  • Evening Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) = 8% additional pay
  • Night Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM) = 11% additional pay
  • No differential for weekend shifts
The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for operating radiographic fluoroscopic equipment in the cardiovascular catheterization lab for both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This role involves close collaboration with physicians, technologists, and nursing staff to foster a patient-centered environment. Participation in the on-call rotation and flexibility with shift schedules are essential. Adherence to hospital protocols and regulatory standards is mandatory.

Essential Requirements:
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • 1 year experience in digital and cine imaging
  • Expertise in X-ray operation, patient monitoring, and scrubbing techniques
