About the Position

The Producers Guild of America is seeking a highly skilled Controller/HR Director to join our team. This critical role will oversee all accounting and financial matters, as well as ensure seamless HR operations, compliance, and employee support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivables
  • Ensure all transactions are properly entered, processed, approved, maintained, and reported
  • Oversee quarterly and annual reporting packages
  • Prepare annual budget and manage banking relationships
  • Work closely with the Guild's outside accounting firm to ensure timely filings
  • Manage vendor contracts, terms, and records
  • Support and adhere to internal controls
  • Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer and legal department to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Provide exceptional employee support and answer HR-related inquiries
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Controller/HR professional
  • Experience working with a PEO is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of employment/HR laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Superb analytical and business/financial skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding time management and organizational skills
