Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend client site meetings as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Familiarize yourself with the responsibilities of the Project Quality Management Procedures (QMP).
  • Scan, download, and upload documents according to company procedure.
  • Collect, register, and organize all quality documents per the company's document control system.
  • Review and update documents for maintenance and quality controls.
  • Keep other personnel updated on new document versions and how to obtain access or distribute changes.
  • Create templates for use by other personnel as determined.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents.
  • Establish and maintain record retention timelines.
  • Guide and supervise data processing and systems analysis to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Outline and prioritize operational guidelines and deadlines of the control departments.
  • Oversee receipt of emails and ftp files and provide Document control services.
  • Assess completeness and accuracy of attached documents and prepare soft copies.
  • Record files into Document Control System according to transmittal numbers, and disseminate according to matrix.
  • Check promptness and approval of documents, and ensure their timely turn over.
  • Assess and transmit documents as needed.
  • Assess and manage records of project drawings and correspondence to field personnel.
  • Resolve customer queries with the engineer.
  • Supervise timely distribution of documents and execution of procedures.
  • Supervise, track and issue documents and ensure documentation remains within compliance.
  • Coordinate with clients on provision and revision of documentation when necessary.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • 12+ years' experience in the QC/QA and Construction Materials Testing Industry is preferred.
  • Ability to travel overnight.
  • Thorough computer literacy and experience with document software such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Procore, or other cloud-based document storage is preferred.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
  • Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Certificates required ICC soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC Masonry, ICC Structural Steel and Bolting, NICET Soils and Concrete, ACI field.
