Financial Oversight Specialist

The Bridge Back Project is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Oversight Specialist to join our Board of Directors. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide critical financial guidance and oversight to ensure the organization's financial health and stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide informed guidance to the Board and Executive Director on financial matters.
  • Act as a secondary signatory for the organization's bank and brokerage accounts.
  • Review and provide input on the annual budget.

Requirements:

  • Finance, accounting, or bookkeeping background.
  • Familiarity with inclusionary business practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Nonprofit or foundation leadership experience.
  • Nonprofit Treasurer experience.
  • Experience fundraising.
  • Passionate about health, community wellness, and supporting individuals facing disproportionate rates of traumatic stress.
  • Identifies as part of or has experience working with one of the communities we serve - BIPOC, First Responders and Healthcare Frontline Workers, LGBTQIA+ individuals, or Veterans and Active Duty Military.
