Data Protection Engineer II

Job Summary:
The Data Protection Engineer II will be responsible for providing experienced data backup administration, executing procedures for break/fix repair, handling change requests, and scheduling maintenance. This role will also assist in the implementation and support of data backup systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage data backup resources for optimal performance
Lead and participate in backup-related projects
Resolve escalated customer issues
Prepare capacity and growth plans
Requirements:
Four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
3-6 years of experience in data protection and backup administration
Excellent communication skills and customer-focused interpersonal skills
Experience with ITIL process tools and data domain storage
Work Environment:
The work is primarily performed in an office or remote environment.
