Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Security Data Engineer to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions and data infrastructure to protect our organization's data assets.

As a Sr. Security Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, data scientists, and IT professionals, to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security controls, monitoring systems, and data protection mechanisms.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing secure data pipelines and infrastructure to collect, process, and store data.
  • Developing and maintaining security controls, including access controls, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Collaborating with security analysts and data scientists to identify and address security vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Conducting security assessments, vulnerability scans, patching, and audits.

Requirements for this role include:

  • 3+ years of experience in data security, information security, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanning tools, security information and event management systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, OS Scripting, and knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in network communications, information security, or a related field.
