Data Science Analyst II

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Analyst II to join our Digital Product team. As a Data Science Analyst II, you will work on new, emerging machine learning related software products that are being built for various business needs across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply software engineering concepts as well as machine learning models and to develop and offer solutions for various Business objectives in the form of Digital products across the full stack
- Work through business needs and improvise the usability of all digital products
- Help create ML pipelines that can be versioned and governed using MLFlow and Luigi to support business needs
- Develop FastAPI and Flask based APIs to make research models available for multiple business use cases
- Setup monitoring tools using PowerBI, Snowflake, Datadog, and other relevant tools to ensure business can be in the loop with model performance and business metrics
- Work with external Aerial image vendors (Nearmap) to create and maintain data pipelines required for internal aerial models
Requirements
- Masters degree in Data Science or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in an Analyst II, Data Science-related occupation
- Demonstrable experience in deploying models on home-grown deployment architectures, creating FastAPI and Flask based RESTFul services, creating model monitoring on Datadog, PowerBI and similar tools, load testing models using frameworks like Locust, Machine Learning (ML) Engineering, creating and training new ML models, doing demos and presentations to business stakeholders to communicate value of ML models, using MLFlow for model monitoring and creating pipelines, creating and using pipelines with frameworks like Luigi, using aerial images from vendors like Nearmap or GIC or Vexcel to build and evaluate CVML models for insurance use cases, AWS tech stack (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Lambda Functions, Gateway, and Quicksight), Python, Typescript and Javascript, Snowflake, Databricks, Data extraction and manipulation skills, EDA, transformations, and general linear models (GLM), Basic CART, Foundational knowledge of predictive analytics tools
