Decathlon America is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Commercial Director / Brand Manager to drive our next phase of growth in the USA sports market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans for the Mountain Sports category, curating a diverse and compelling assortment of products, and building relationships with partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer research to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Collaborate with the supply team to forecast demand and optimize inventory management
  • Monitor category performance metrics and provide insights to inform business decisions
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing plans for product categories
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical business practices
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a senior commercial or sales management role within the outdoor industry
  • Strong understanding of the US outdoor market landscape, consumer behavior, and industry trends
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
