Medical Services of America is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Corporate office in Lexington, SC.
This role involves preparing invoices for entry into the accounts payable system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Matches purchase orders to receivers and invoices, identifying discrepancies.
- Reviews and reconciles accounts payable statements.
- Codes incoming invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Batches, balances, and enters incoming invoices into the accounts payable system.
- Audits invoices for standards violations and takes corrective action.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- BS or BA degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a related position.
- Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software experience strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) experience required.
- Crystal Reports and database experience strongly preferred.
