Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to become an integral part of our finance team. This role is essential in guaranteeing the precise processing and documentation of payroll, as well as providing timely financial insights. The position requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and validate time entries in our payroll system for accuracy.
  • Conduct routine and complex payroll operations.
  • Oversee workflow to ensure all payroll activities are executed accurately and punctually.
  • Reconcile payroll data prior to submission and confirm reports.
  • Comprehend the taxation of employer-funded benefits.
  • Execute garnishment calculations and ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate accurate year-end reporting as needed (W-2, W-2c, etc.).
  • Generate financial and operational reports as required.
  • Provide support within the payroll department and assist with other accounting tasks when necessary.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in payroll support is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Davis Bacon Payroll processing is advantageous.
  • Background in construction is preferred but not mandatory.
