Job Summary

As a part-time employee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the Building and Planning Divisions, working on a variety of projects and tasks that support the department's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform research and analysis on assigned projects, preparing reports and making recommendations for appropriate action
  • Provide technical and administrative assistance to department employees and the public
  • Maintain and update departmental files, records, and databases
  • Review applications, records, and files for completeness and conformance with established regulations and procedures
Requirements
  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university in pursuit of an associate's or bachelor's degree
  • Graduate school advanced degree program for Graduate Intern position
  • Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license and an acceptable driving record
  • Satisfactory results from a background investigation, physical examination, and administrative screening
Working Conditions
