Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must successfully fulfill each essential duty. The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma / College degree preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the roofing industry
  • Certifications: 30 Hour OSHA Construction card, First Aid/CPR/Bloodborne pathogen training

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and scheduling software
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational abilities
  • High level of self-confidence
  • Professional and motivated demeanor
  • Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of roofing systems including BUR, shingles, tile, single-ply, metal, and waterproofing techniques

Essential Functions

  • Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
  • Enhance and maintain quality control measures
  • Motivate and direct both office and field employees, including recruitment, training, and promoting professional growth
  • Coordinate sales efforts with the sales team to support overall success
  • Oversee the setup, processing, and invoicing of work orders
  • Review and address issues in the aging report
  • Drive the growth of the department as determined by management
  • Continuously improve quality control and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Department Heads and Service Managers across branches

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Use of ladders, scaffolds, and stairways
  • Physical capability to climb, lift, balance, walk, and handle materials
  • Requires strength and endurance for physical tasks
  • Ability to see details at close range
  • Engage in repetitive movements and various physical activities
  • Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

Work Environment

  • Work in varying lighting conditions and extreme temperatures
  • Exposure to distracting sounds and hazardous materials
  • Adherence to safety procedures is critical due to the potential for serious consequences from mistakes
  • Potential exposure to minor injuries or dangerous conditions
