Position Overview

We are currently in search of a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager who will play a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing success of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of our product offerings and will actively promote our strategic initiatives to drive sales and enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability and functionality of necessary equipment for operational tasks.
  • Lead the team in performing daily safety inspections on forklifts, cutting machinery, and other essential equipment.
  • Oversee the quality and quantity of incoming supplies and equipment.
  • Confirm that outgoing shipments meet our quality standards and that all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Keep team members updated on company policies, regulations, and objectives.
  • Maintain precise and comprehensive records of work activities.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement improvements in departmental efficiency.
  • Address and resolve conflicts among team members and other staff.
  • Request new equipment as needed, in line with management directives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Work closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Manage the daily operations of the warehouse department.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
  • Administer disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policies.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience in the flooring industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with RFMS systems is a plus.
