Position Overview

The Senior Tech Lead for Marketing Technology Platforms is a crucial figure in steering the strategy, development, and enhancement of our content platform, which supports a robust B2B commerce product valued at over $4 billion. This platform is utilized by more than 15 product development teams and serves 2500 leading beverage-alcohol brands alongside hundreds of thousands of customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a dedicated platform development team focused on creating capabilities that enhance and support products developed by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
- Establish and maintain design patterns for Content Management Systems (CMS), including the exploration of innovative Adobe CMS solutions and the upkeep of existing AEM templates and components.
- Implement headless CMS solutions to effectively separate content from presentation, creating enterprise-level patterns for content generation, lifecycle management, distribution, and delivery.
- Drive the introduction of new capabilities such as hyper-personalization and the integration of generative AI to revolutionize content management, while building a cohesive marketing ecosystem utilizing tools like Target, Workfront, AEP, and Analytics.

Required Skills and Experience

- Proven experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or comparable CMS and Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
- Familiarity with headless CMS implementations, particularly in eCommerce settings.
- Solid understanding of at least one other Adobe Marketing Cloud product (e.g., Target, Analytics, Audience Manager, AEP, Campaign, Magento).
- Experience in application architecture, systems integration, and software development.
- Proficiency in Java concepts and patterns, including Java/J2EE, JSP, Sling, JMS, JUnit, and Eclipse.
- Knowledge of various web and application technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, React, REST, GraphQL, Tomcat, Apache HTTP, Solr, and open-source packages.
- Experience with automation and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Maven, SonarCube, Selenium, Jira, and GitHub.

Leadership and Collaboration

- Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for the content platform, collaborating closely with product leaders and development teams to leverage platform capabilities.
- Oversee the implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets) and other marketing technology platforms, contributing to software design, development, and integration.
- Foster a culture of strong leadership, facilitating effective product team meetings and providing constructive feedback to development teams.
- Independently lead estimation efforts for product development, managing a combination of onshore and offshore Agile development teams while performing code reviews and offering guidance on best practices.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing Adobe Experience Manager solutions (Sites, Assets) or similar CMS/DAM, with a preference for cloud service experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing development teams within an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Physical Requirements

- This role may involve prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, as well as occasional physical activities such as walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
