Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Communications Manager to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that support the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate projects through the Human Resources leadership, utilizing department resources to create engaging content and implement effective communication tactics.
  • Develop and implement strategic internal communications plans to achieve stated goals, providing communications support to all areas of Human Resources.
  • Participate in round table sessions, focus groups, and other listening tours to gather input, aggregate themes, and integrate into HR strategic and action planning.
  • Support the development of employee communication programs and materials to facilitate awareness and drive desired changes across the workforce.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with external partners, such as agencies, producers, designers, writers, printers, and media to execute marketing initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles, with the ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
  • Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan, and effectively plan, delegate, and/or supervise the work of others.
