Position Overview

The Strategic Account Insights team at Publicis Groupe is at the forefront of discovering transformative customer insights, driving our teams to translate these insights into compelling marketing strategies. This role is integral to the creative process and collaborates closely with the creative leadership.

The Vice President of Strategic Account Insights serves as the primary authority on customer insights for designated clients, with key responsibilities including:
  • Utilizing customer insights to inspire innovative marketing strategies
  • Identifying significant opportunities for developing impactful customer insights
  • Creating novel methodologies for gathering customer insights
Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively assessing how in-depth understanding of consumer attitudes and behaviors can enhance client marketing success
  • Extracting key insights from existing data and translating them into actionable marketing strategies
  • Employing advanced research techniques to generate relevant and groundbreaking customer insights
  • Collaborating with primary researchers and internal analytics teams to maximize the value of insights
  • Enhancing the role of customer insights in the creative development process by inspiring and collaborating with creative teams
  • Applying the Publicis Groupe branding approach to marketing strategy development, encouraging a consumer-centric marketing philosophy
  • Facilitating brainstorming sessions that yield innovative insights and maximize team contributions
  • Fostering collaboration and teamwork to achieve successful outcomes
  • Demonstrating the value of account planning contributions to generate demand
  • Overseeing a team of mid-level planners
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing or strategic services, such as advertising agency account planning, management consulting, or brand strategy
  • Experience in qualitative research with a focus on innovative techniques
  • Ability to interpret and apply quantitative research
  • Undergraduate degree in fields such as sociology, psychology, or communications
  • Graduate degree preferred (e.g., MBA, Master's)
  • Familiarity with segmentation and analytics tools
  • Strong ability to derive insights from extensive data
  • Passion for understanding consumer perspectives
  • Awareness of evolving marketing trends and consumer behavior
  • Ability to challenge teams to uncover customer-centric insights
  • Experience in applying insights to marketing strategy development
  • Skill in helping creative teams translate insights into compelling creative work
