Overview

General Motors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) software development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, testing, and deployment of ADAS software solutions that enhance vehicle safety and convenience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams of software engineers, testers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality ADAS software solutions.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to define and prioritize ADAS software development roadmaps.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leaders, engineers, and customers, to ensure alignment and buy-in.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, or program management, preferably in the automotive or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex software projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ADAS software development, including machine learning, computer vision, and software development environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Agile, Scaled Agile Framework, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of autonomous driving, system engineering, safety frameworks, and software simulation and testing tools.
  • Experience with tool administration and configuration, such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
  • MBA or PMP certification.
