Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in maintaining a thriving retail environment. This role is crucial in upholding our reputation for exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing tasks and supervising staff.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming and assisting shoppers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a pleasant shopping atmosphere.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained and product displays are visually appealing.
  • Engage with customers to promote sales and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement strategies aimed at achieving sales targets and financial objectives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager or upper management.
  • Assist in managing part-time seasonal staff effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of retail experience with some supervisory or managerial duties.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Excel, Outlook, and Square is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedules, tasks, and priorities as needed to meet business demands.
  • Physical requirements include frequent movement, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
