Your OpportunityAs a General Manager, you will lead a team of highly motivated and talented retail professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities to drive sales and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for maximizing store sales and revenue, utilizing data and market knowledge to identify new opportunities and improve core business.
You will also be responsible for customer relationships and customer service, role-modeling excellent customer service and coaching Customer Advisors to develop long-lasting relationships with customers. Additionally, you will analyze and utilize CRM data to set the direction of the sales team and develop business plans and relationship activities.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Maximize store sales and revenue, propose store events to generate business, and actively participate in the community to drive external sales generation.
- Customer Relationships and Customer Service: Role-model customer service, coach Customer Advisors, and attract, create, and maintain loyal Zegna customers.
- Product: Develop an in-depth knowledge of Zegna products, execute activities to drive sell-through, and provide feedback on products to assist merchandising teams.
- People: Consistently raise the standard of the in-store team through active training, coaching, and motivating team members.
- Sales Management: Set monthly, weekly, and daily sales goals, plan Salesforce staffing deployment and store shift management, and plan for trading peaks and troughs.
- Store Operations: Support efficiency and effectiveness of daily sales activities, achieve excellence in retail operations and company standards, and manage all financial aspects of business operations.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with 5-6 years of experience in luxury retail and/or hospitality. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with digital technology, and have a bachelor's degree or equivalent. The salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000 annually with bonus potential.
