About the Team

The Brand Experiences team is essential in ensuring the success of Roku's innovative sponsorship initiatives. This team manages intricate trafficking, quality assurance, and thorough troubleshooting of all sponsorship products. They work across multiple platforms, adapting to the unique requirements of each project. By collaborating closely with Client Services and Product Marketing, team members lead the implementation of both new and existing product offerings. About the Role

Roku is looking for a Lead Ad Operations Specialist to join our expanding Brand Experiences team. In this role, you will facilitate the launch and delivery of advertising campaigns while ensuring adherence to standard processes and quality assurance protocols. This position is highly collaborative and will utilize a mix of third-party and proprietary platforms to create customized and complex executions that drive user engagement and satisfaction.

This position collaborates with the Senior Ad Operations Brand Experience team and reports to the Senior Manager of Ad Operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize third-party tools to ensure that creatives in our ad servers comply with specifications.
  • Oversee and schedule campaigns, optimizing placements, tags, creatives, and third-party technologies to ensure expected delivery.
  • Manage and ensure quality assurance for high-profile and time-sensitive campaign launches.
  • Create and launch custom advertising experiences using proprietary tools and technical systems.
  • Act as a liaison between Account Management, Engineering, and Technical Operations teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Consult with Client Services to adjust strategies based on client objectives and performance metrics.
  • Contribute ideas for enhancing our proprietary systems and tools to improve productivity and effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify technical issues that require escalation and take the initiative to address them.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital ad operations or quality assurance at a publisher, ad tech company, agency, or ad network.
  • Familiarity with GAM and digital ad serving tools for video and display.
  • Experience in display and video advertising with a premium publisher or agency.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and process-oriented, with a strong adherence to standards.
  • Ambitious self-starter who embraces challenges and values continuous learning.
  • Understanding of digital advertising campaign management, including strategies, execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to leverage analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot setup and delivery issues.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to work effectively in an innovative technology environment.
