Surgical Technician Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician Associate to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to sterile protocols and guidelines.
- Anticipate and meet the needs of the surgical team, providing timely and effective support to ensure smooth procedure execution.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and respectful work environment.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
- 6 months of Operating Room experience for candidates who have graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or have completed other accredited programs by the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist or completion of a Surgical Technician Military Training program.
