About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering patient care during surgery, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, RNs, and other surgical personnel to deliver patient care during surgery.
  • Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and anticipate the needs of the surgeon.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 6 months of Operating Room experience for candidates who have graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology Program or have completed other accredited programs by the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist or completion of a Surgical Technician Military Training program.
