Position Overview:
We are seeking a Culinary Strategy Manager to spearhead a dynamic team of culinary professionals and product developers. This role is pivotal in collaborating with our foodservice sales team to create innovative food and beverage offerings that cater to diverse operator needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Leadership: Cultivate an environment of creativity and teamwork within the culinary department.
  • Product Development: Identify and leverage opportunities for new food and beverage products that resonate with customer demands and drive business growth.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide a team of skilled chefs, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high culinary standards.
  • Menu Development: Oversee the creation of strategic menu concepts that align with brand values and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to facilitate effective culinary discussions and partnerships.
  • Quality Control: Establish and uphold culinary standards and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and brand guidelines.
  • Culinary Training: Implement training initiatives to enhance the culinary team's skills and knowledge, staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align culinary strategies with broader business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in food manufacturing processes and product development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and partnerships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving business growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, food science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 6-8 years of experience in restaurant or foodservice sales.
  • 4 years in a culinary sales role, particularly with corporate chain restaurants.
  • 2 years of experience in team leadership and development.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
