Job Title: Sous Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Terraces at Bonita Springs. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen staff, including cooks and kitchen porters.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of food and supplies.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in high-volume food service establishments, including fine dining and formal dining.
  • Prior culinary management experience in multi-venue kitchens.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent food service management experience.
  • ServSafe certification.
